This lesson contains:
A starter to get students thinking about what they already know about the Black Death.
A brief source study about the plague and then an overview of the Black Death and its spread/effect.
An opportunity to go over the two types of plague: bubonic and pneumonic.
A task to study the sources information sheet provided to complete the table of the causes, prevention and treatment of the Black Death. Some extension tasks are available to consider government involvement.
A crossword plenary to recap the key words and phrases.
