Elizabeth L19 - Reasons for Exploration

This lesson contains:
A starter to examine two maps of the world before and after Elizabeth's reign.
Discussional background information about the reasons why people explored, including the trade goods, methods of travel, new instruments etc.
An activity to sort the reasons for exploration into a triple Venn diagram.
An alternative activity using textbooks (if you have and prefer this) which is more lieracy based and exam-focused.
An exam exemplar to finish which students scrutinise.
